The Read the Foundation Project
Setting aside time to fully read God's Word from Genesis to Revelation. Not a study. A reading. An encounter with the whole counsel of God — in sequence, without filter.
Why Read It All
Most of us know Scripture in pieces — a verse on a card, a passage on a Sunday. Read the Foundation sets those pieces back in their place, so the whole story is heard the way it was given: from the first word to the last.
In a day of varying standards, one source does not change. This is the foundation beneath everything — and Matthew 6 Ministry is directly involved in the project.
How It Works
The reading opens at Genesis 1:1 — "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" — and moves forward book by book, in order, with nothing skipped.
This is not a study and not a sermon series. No commentary is added between passages. The Word is simply read and allowed to speak for itself.
Readers take turns carrying the text forward, so the reading continues from one voice to the next until the whole of Scripture has been read.
The reading closes at Revelation 22 — "Surely I am coming soon. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!" — the entire Bible, cover to cover, in under 100 hours.
